Connect With Your Spirit Animal in the Final Release of the Series

The bison, or buffalo, is one of the most revered animal species in North America. For the indigenous tribes of North America, the bison was a sacred and respected animal. To this day, people look upon the bison with reverence and see the beast for its true beauty. In terms of symbolism, the bison is a symbol of strength, stamina, and good health. In the conclusion to an exciting series of Solomon Islands silver coins, the bison features as the last Spirit Animal design.

    Colorized Reverse

The reverse of the 2021 1 oz Colorized Solomon Islands Silver Spirit Animals Bison Coin is what you’ve come to see in this series. Here, the massive head of the bison is captured in front-facing relief. While you can see its natural beauty with its haunting eyes, horns, and thick, brown fur, you will also find beautiful colorization throughout the face of the bison. Artist Phil Lewis has captured the spirit of the beast with hues of orange, gold, purple, and red throughout the mask of its face.

    Queen Elizabeth II Obverse

On the obverse of each 2021 Colorized Silver Spirit Animals Bison Coin is an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. This design is the 1998 depiction of Her Majesty in right-profile relief with the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara on her head. This side of the coin includes the textured fur of the beast as well but has no colorization. You will find all of the identifying hallmarks of the coin on this side.
