Extraterrestrials have Landed in the Emoji Series

The latest release in the Emoji Series of silver rounds at JM Bullion is out of this world. Continuing with its release of unique designs inspired by popular emojis from digital keyboards, the sixth release of the collection turns to outer space to welcome aliens to the world of precious metals. Learn all about the latest release in this series!

    New Obverse

On the obverse of the new 1 oz Emoji Alien Silver Round, you will find the delightful alien emoji. This emoji is used for a variety of purposes and its appearance reflects the common depiction from popular culture around the world. While we have no definitive idea what any possible form of extraterrestrial life actually looks like, many depictions cast aliens as tall, thin figures with oversized heads and large eyes.

    Common Reverse

The reverse side of Emoji Alien Silver Rounds features a wide variety of emojis. If you look closely in the lower-right field, you’ll find our friendly alien emoji on this side along with everything from Ghost, Heart, and Poo emoji to Bikini, Ray Gun, Strawberry, and many more. All of the rounds in this series have proof-like visuals and are offered either individually in plastic flips or by multiples of 20 rounds in tubes.

    History of Emojis

Emojis have become a popular form of communication, allowing people to express emotions, ideas, and actions through small graphical icons. One interesting fact is that emojis now come in various skin tones and genders to promote inclusivity and representation. In 2015, the Unicode Consortium, the organization responsible for standardizing emojis, introduced diverse skin tone options for human emojis, enabling users to choose from six different shades.

    Welcome to Planet Earth!

One common myth about aliens is that they are depicted as aggressive beings whose sole purpose is to invade Earth and harm humanity. This perception is often influenced by science fiction movies and popular culture. While the idea of hostile extraterrestrial life makes for exciting storytelling, there is no scientific evidence to support the notion that all aliens would be inherently malevolent or have malicious intentions toward humans.
