Liberty is shown with sun rays on the horizon behind her figure, a ring of stars around the field, and the U.S. Capitol Building in the background.
The reverse side of the 2024 1 oz Gold Eagle Coins comes with a depiction of the American bald eagle. This new design from Jennie Norris debuted in mid-2021 and offers a natural depiction of the eagle with its head captured in left-profile relief.
