Historically, the 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle has been most commonly offered in the BU Series. Introduced in 1986, it has been offered each year since. The 1/10 oz Proof Gold Eagle did not debut until 1988 and has been offered each year since, except 2009. The 1/10 oz Burnished Gold Eagle was only available from 2006 to 2008.
BU Gold Eagles have the highest mintages recorded in the American Gold Eagle Series. While the 1 oz gold eagle has the highest number of date marks with the top mintage, the 1/10 oz gold eagle holds the single-year record with sales of 2.75 million coins in 1999.
Obverse designs on 2024 1/10 oz Gold Eagle Coins depict Lady Liberty. Created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens in 1907, this visual shows the full-length figure of Lady Liberty in front-facing relief with a torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other.
Reverse visuals on 2024 American Gold Eagles include the head of the American bald eagle. This natural design was created in 2020 by Jennie Norris and debuted on the coins in mid-2021 as part of the 35th anniversary of the series.
These 2024 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle Coins are in perfect condition. Mint State 70 coins showcase full, original mint luster with no flaws present. Early Release coins are those specimens received for grading at the PCGS within 30 days of release by the US Mint.
