On the obverse side of the cards is full-color artwork from the original Marvel Comic in which the character on the reverse of the coin featured. The reverse side features important details on the individual issues, such as mintage figure and date of release. All coins in this set are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
The Tuvalu Marvel Series launched in 2017 with a Spiderman coin design. It has continued through 2019 with six additional coin releases following the sellout of 2017 Spiderman Coins. The designs available in this six-coin set include the 2018 Thor, 2018 Black Panther, 2018 Iron Man, 2018 Deadpool, 2019 Captain America, and 2019 Hulk images.
On the obverse of each coin in the Tuvalu Marvel Series 6-Coin Set is an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is featured here in the fifth-generation portrait used on Australian and South Pacific coins. A 1998 creation by Ian Rank-Broadley, this design featured on Royal Mint of England coins as the fourth-generation British portrait from 1998 to 2015.
The reverse side of each coin in this Marvel Series 6-Coin Set features a depiction of one of six different superheroes from the original Marvel Comic in which they appeared. The full-color artwork on the obverse of the blister pack card is the same design found on the reverse of each coin, with the coins packaged into each card with the reverse side of the coin matching up to the obverse side of the card.
