The Morgan Silver Dollar was the last widely circulated silver dollar in the United States. Introduced in 1878, the Morgan Silver Dollar’s introduction marked the end of a five-year hiatus in silver dollar coining and ushered in a 27-year run of silver dollar production in the US. Right now, certified Morgan Silver Dollar Coins are available to purchase online from JM Bullion.
Coin Highlights:
Each Morgan Silver Dollar Coin available here comes in Mint State 65 condition. Coins in this condition have a high-quality mint luster with a few scattered contact marks. It is also possible for the coins to feature two larger marks, one or two small patches of hairlines, and even light scuff marks.
JM Bullion offers these coins to you at random. We select all coins to fulfill your order after your payment has cleared. We cannot guarantee a specific date mark, a specific mint mark, or the grading house label included. If you buy multiples, please keep in mind you could get coins with the same dates, mint marks, and labels.
Obverse visuals on 1878-1904 Morgan Silver Dollar Coins feature an effigy of Lady Liberty. This historic vision of Liberty is a left-profile relief that was created in 1878 by George T. Morgan. This image features Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap with a coronet crown and a laurel wreath on her head.
Reverse elements on Morgan Silver Dollars include the heraldic eagle of the United States. Also designed by Morgan in 1878, this version of the heraldic eagle lacks a US national shield. However, the bird is still featured in front-facing relief with its wings spread as its talons clutch the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace. There is also a wreath of oak and laurel surrounding the bird.

"I received an 1881-S PCGS. I am very impressed by the luster and eye appeal. Very nice cartwheel effect also. Highly recommend JM Bullion..they never disappoint. Will be reordering"
"Was psyched to get the notification that my Morgan Dollar was out for delivery. Got home from work to find it in my mailbox. Nice coin, reason for the 4 out of 5 stars... Wasn't NGC. The slab doesn't fit in my NGC storage cases."
