From the first episode to the last, viewers followed the lives of Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe as they navigated life in New York City as young adults in their 20s and 30s. Within the storyline, Ross and Monica are brother and sister. Monica sublets their grandmother’s apartment in a building in which Chandler and Joey live in the apartment across the hall. Ross and Chandler were roommates in college, and Monica’s high school friend, Rachel, is her roommate.
Throughout the timeline of the series, a few themes run with consistency. These include the wild antics and many careers of Phoebe, Rachel’s growth from a spoiled rich girl to a hardworking woman who climbs the corporate ladder, the eventual maturing of Chandler, Joey’s quest for acting fame, and of course, the love between Ross and Rachel.

- 1 oz Niue Silver Chibi Friends Chandler Shaped Coin – Chandler is also smartly dressed and is shown with Chick in his hands, the other half of the bird duo that lives with him and Joey.
- 1 oz Niue Silver Chibi Friends Monica Shaped Coin – Throughout the film, Monica is known as the resident host, cook, and professional chef, and this design captures her wearing a chef’s coat and hat.
Though each coin from the Chibi Friends Series has its own unique shape and colorized reverse design, the obverse of each coin is the same. Here, Queen Elizabeth II is featured in the 1998 design from Ian Rank-Broadley. This design shows the Queen wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara.
Packaging and Presentation
Each of the Chibi Friends Coins comes with individual packaging from the New Zealand Mint. The coins are held in custom-designed cases meant to fit the exact shape of each of the six different coins. The coin and case arrive in a Friends-themed box with an outer viewing window so you can see the coin’s reverse design at all times. The box features a Certificate of Authenticity and a unique serial number.
