The North American Brown Bear, also known as the grizzly bear, is one of the largest bear species in the world. Adult males can reach a height of around 7 feet when standing on their hind legs and weigh between 500 to 1,200 pounds. They typically inhabit remote areas of North America, including Alaska, western Canada, and parts of the northwestern United States.
