The lack of a crown, and change to left-profile relief, are common changes to monarch portraits when a new individual ascends to the throne.
A kookaburra is depicted in the reverse field of 2024 1 Kilo Silver Kookaburra Coins. This year’s design depicts the namesake bird in flight as it flies over a gorge with a small snake in its talons. This field includes both the micro-laser engraved security letter and the P125 mint mark.
All 2024 1 Kilo Australian Silver Kookaburra Coins offered here come in individual protective capsules.
