The obverse of the 2024 American Gold Eagle Coin features the iconic image of Lady Liberty designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Originally designed in 1907, this image features Liberty walking toward the viewer, holding a torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other.
The reverse side of the 2024 1/4 oz American Eagle Coin showcases the new image of an American bald eagle, designed by Jennie Norris. This depiction showcases the eagle in left-profile relief with identifying marks of the coin surrounding it.
Each 2024 1/4 oz American Gold Eagle Coin will arrive in a protective plastic slab from the NGC. These coins have been meticulously graded as Mint State 69 from the esteemed coin grading service. MS69 coins have their full, original mint luster with a maximum of two minor detracting flaws such as minuscule contact marks or hairlines. These coins are also Early Release coins meaning that they were received by the NGC within 30 days of the release of these coins from the US Mint.
