On the obverse side of 2024 Australian Gold Lunar Dragon Coins, you will find a bust of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen is shown in this 2015 portrait in right-profile relief with the George IV State Diadem. Designed by Jody Clark, this image captures the Queen at the age of 89.

The reverse field of 2024 1/10 oz Gold Lunar Dragons features a depiction of the Chinese dragon. Unlike its Western counterparts, the dragon is often depicted as a serpent and is a benevolent creature, not a destructive beast.
