Obverse design elements on the 2023-S Proof Peace Dollar include Anthony di Francisci’s depiction of Liberty. This left-profile bust captures the image of Liberty with free-flowing hair and a radiant crown of light on her head.
Reverse visuals on the 2023-S Proof Peace Silver Dollar feature the image of an American bald eagle. Capturing the desire for peace among the American populace, this design shows the eagle without the US national shield or the arrows of war. The eagle is perched on a cliff edge with its wings at its side as it clutches an olive branch.
