Anthony de Francisci's wife, Teresa de Francisci, served as the model for the depiction of Liberty on the obverse of the Peace Silver Dollar. Her image was used as a representation of the American spirit of peace.
Lady Liberty features on the obverse of the 2023-S Proof Peace Silver Dollar. This effigy shows the bust of Liberty in left-profile relief with a radiant crown of light on her head with her hair flowing in the breeze.
An American bald eagle is found in the reverse design of 2023-S Proof Peace Dollars. This visual shows a bald eagle perched at the edge of a cliff. Unlike many designs of the era, the eagle is not shown with the arrows of war or the US national shield. The design shows the eagle with its wings at its sides as it sits atop an olive branch.
