Back in 1921, the US Mint resumed silver dollar coining after previously halting production of the Morgan Silver Dollar in 1904. The mint restarted production with the Morgan Dollar design in 1921 as a new design was created. By December 1921, the mint was ready with a new design.

The Peace Silver Dollar was first struck on December 27, 1921, and would see just over 1 million coins released that year. The design from Anthony di Francisci would be used on Peace Dollars from 1921 to 1928 and again in 1934 and 1935.

Obverse design elements on the 2023 Peace Silver Dollar feature a left-profile bust of Liberty. This depiction of Lady Liberty was created to reflect that desire for peace, with gentle facial features and a radiant crown of light.

Reverse designs on the 2023 Peace Dollar include the American bald eagle. This striking depiction shows the eagle at rest on the edge of a rock cliff. With its wings folded at its side, the eagle clutches only an olive branch in its talons.

These 2023 Peace Silver Dollar Coins are available in perfect condition. MS70 specimens showcase full, original mint luster with no detractions present. First Strike coins are those received for grading within 30 days of release from the mint.
