The Morgan Silver Dollar is one of the most iconic and widely collected coins in American numismatic history. It was minted from 1878 to 1904 and then again in 1921. The coin was named after its designer, George T. Morgan, who was an English-born engraver working at the United States Mint.
All of these 2023 Morgan Silver Dollars are available in perfect condition. MS70 coins have full, original mint luster and bear no detracting flaws of any kind. The First Day of Issue designation is for coins received for certification within 24 hours of release from the US Mint.
On the obverse of 2023 Morgan Dollars, you will find a depiction of Lady Liberty. This classic bust of Liberty is set in left-profile relief with a Phrygian cap on her head, as well as both the coronet crown and laurel wreath in her hair.
