She was the Queen of 32 sovereign states over the course of her life. Her reign of 70 years is the longest of any British monarch as well as the longest reign of any female head of state in history.
The obverse field of the 2023 St. Helena Silver Queen's Memorial Coin features the portrait of King Charles III. The King is depicted in left-profile relief, notably in the opposite direction that we’re used to seeing the Queen in.
The reverse side of the 2023 1 oz St. Helena Queen's Memorial Coin showcases a unique image of Britannia. The iconic figure is shown in mourning with her trident resting on her shoulder. Next to her, the Queen’s royal cypher is displayed.
