In Asian mythology, Chiwoo Cheonwang is known as the god of war. He’s a popular figure in Asian culture but depictions of him vary throughout history. Some versions depict him as having four eyes and six arms each wielding a different weapon. Others show him as a military leader with the mask of a demon. Chiwoo was also used as the mascot for the South Korean soccer team during the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
Each 2023 1/10 oz South Korean Chiwoo Cheonwang Gold Medallion will arrive in a blue sealed assay card. Each assay card features a larger image of the Doggaebi shield. Notably, these assay cards also list essential information such as a certificate number and the Certified Assayer. While these medallions have a mintage of 500, only 125 are available with the blue assay card.
