This crown was a wedding gift from Queen Mary to Elizabeth in 1947. Other design elements include the shifting inner gears of two clocks and a stunning symmetrical pattern. The hallmarks are shown along the coin’s edges.
On the reverse of the 2022 Tokelau Chronos Gold Coin is a depiction of a clock. The hands are striking near midnight with the numbers shown in Roman Numeral form. The font is in Old English, which gives the clock an old-fashioned quality. Inscriptions read 100 Dollars, Chronos, Au.
