The coins in this series are individually housed inside of Bible-themed display boxes that include a numbered Certificate of Authenticity with the Bible verse that inspired the design.
The silver coins for sale in the Biblical Silver Series all have a unique serial number assigned between 1 and 1,499. This number is laser-etched onto the outer edge of the rimless blank. The designs in this series are all inspired by the works of 19th-century French artist Gustave Dore. In the 1860s he created an impressive series of artistic depictions of scenes from the Bible.
On the obverse side of each 2020 2 oz Jesus Walking on the Sea Biblical Silver Coins is a depiction of Queen Elizabeth II. In this design from Raphael Maklouf, Her Majesty is shown in right-profile relief wearing the George IV State Diadem Crown. This was designed in 1985 for the Royal Mint of England and used through 1997 on British coins, making it one of the shortest used designs during her reign.
The reverse face of 2020 Jesus Walking on the Sea Biblical Silver Coins includes a depiction of Jesus in the foreground as he walks on stormy seas toward his disciples. The disciples are on a small fishing boat that is silhouetted against the storms and rough seas in the distance.
