Each of these individual 2019 1 oz Australian Silver Lunar Pig Coins earned a near-perfect certification from the NGC. Coins with a Mint State 69 certification exhibit full, original mint luster with a maximum of two minor detracting flaws. To qualify for this grade level, flaws must be limited to minuscule contact marks or hairlines and be found only outside the primary focal points of the coin.

The Lunar Series II collection concluded with the release of the 2019 Year of the Pig designs. The 1 oz silver coin is the leading option in the collection and is just one of two that features a mintage cap, with just 300,000 of these coins originally produced. This means the availability of certified coins is even lower as a result of a mintage cap existing!

On the reverse of 2019 1 oz Australian Silver Lunar Pig Coins is the design of an adult sow with four little piglets. The adult pig stands in left-profile relief while the four little piglets are depicted in various positions around the feet of the adult pig. There is a “P” mint mark from Perth on this face, along with the Chinese symbol for pig.

The obverse of 2019 Australian Silver Pig Coins departs from the other silver bullion coins offered by Perth in 2019. Featured here is the right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II designed in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley. While other silver bullion coins issued by Perth in 2019 have a new effigy of Her Majesty, the mint maintains the Broadley design for the final Lunar Series II release to ensure continuity from the 2008 debut coins to these concluding issues.
