American Gold Eagle coins are the official gold bullion coins of the United States. Introduced in 1986, the bullion version of the coin is aimed at investors buying gold and is offered in four weights. The smallest of the four available weights is the 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle coin. Today, 2019 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle Coins are available to you online from JM Bullion.
Coin Highlights:
The Gold Eagle coins are available annually in four weights and three versions. The 1986 debut of the coins featured all four weights in bullion and a 1 oz proof coin. The fractional weights in the proof lineup were introduced in 1987 and 1988, with the burnished collectible coin introduced in 1 oz gold in 2006.
All of these 2019 1/10 oz American Gold Eagles are available to you as Mint State 69 specimens as certified by the PCGS. Coins with this certification feature full, original mint luster with a maximum of two minor detracting flaws. These flaws are limited in nature to minuscule contact marks or hairlines and are found only outside the primary focal areas of the coin.
The included First Strike label with each coin denotes its arrival at the PCGS for certification. A First Strike coin is one which the PCGS guarantees arrived for grading within the first 30 days of the US Mint’s release date for these 2019 dated American Gold Eagles.
On the obverse of all 2019 American Gold Eagle coins is the image of Liberty from the $20 Gold Double Eagle. Designed in 1907 by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, this image depicts Liberty walking forth from Washington DC with her torch held high above her head as a guiding light for the American people.
The reverse of 2019 1/10 oz American Gold Eagles features a design exclusive to this series. The family of bald eagles shown here was created in 1986 by Miley Busiek and includes a male eagle in flight over the family nest which holds a female eagle as it guards a young hatchling.
