On the reverse side of the 2018 1 oz South Korean Silver Chiwoo Cheonwang is the new design for 2018. This evolution in the design follows Chiwoo as he rides his warhorse into battle. The design is focused in on his torso as you see the fearless look on his face as he prepares to strike down his enemies. The lowered sword in his right hand prepares to strike in a haunting vision that is likely the last thing many of his enemies ever saw.
Included on this side of the coin is a Scrofa privy mark in the lower-right portion of the design field. Scrofa is the third design in the Zi:Sin Series, otherwise known as the 12 Guardians. Though each of the figures depicted in the separate Zi:Sin series is in human form with some of the characteristics of the lunar animals, these privy marks capture the animal side. The Scrofa Privy depicts the head of a wild hog.
The obverse of 2018 Chiwoo Cheonwang Scrofa Privy Silver Medallions includes the popular image of Do ggae bi. Visible on both sides of the coin, Do ggae bi is a grotesque figure whose face can ward off evil spirits. Chiwoo uses this emblem on his battle shield to further frighten his enemies.
