Now, the Royal Canadian Mint is releasing limited edition Silver Maple Leafs with privy marks honoring the Canadian Wildlife Series. Today, the 2016 1 oz Wolf Privy Canadian Silver Maple Leaf is available in perfect condition with a reverse proof finish from JM Bullion.

The Royal Canadian Mint’s Canadian Wildlife Series bullion program was a six-coin series featuring popular creatures from the Canadian wilderness. The wolf was the first design in the series, and now the RCM celebrates the 2011-2013 issued coins with privy marks on the popular Canadian Silver Maple Leaf.
Just as the wolf was first in the Canadian Wildlife Series, so too is it first in the Canadian Wildlife Series privy marked Silver Maple Leafs. Each of these coins has a limited mintage of just 50,000, just like the original coin series. The design of a wolf head featured in the privy mark is from Canadian artist Pierre Leduc.
Each of the 2016 1 oz Wolf Privy Canadian Silver Maple Leafs available today from JM Bullion has a perfect PF70 grade. Coins in this condition feature their full, original luster, and no detracting flaws of any kind.
As part of the Early Release Series, these coins were packaged and shipped to an NGC depository within the first 30 days of the coin’s release from the Royal Canadian Mint. The reverse proof finish on these coins gives a deeply-mirrored, clear finish to the design set, while the background bears a strong, frosted appearance.
On the reverse is the standard Canadian Silver Maple Leaf design, accompanied by the head of a howling wolf as a privy mark to the bottom left of the design. The obverse bears Susanna Blunt’s 2003 depiction of Queen Elizabeth II.
