The refineries at PAMP Suisse in Switzerland are considered some of the finest in the world. The popularity of its designs are surpassed only by the purity and quality of its overall products. Founded just four decades ago, it is already the world’s leading bullion brand. Platinum products are gaining new momentum in the precious metals marketplace. One of Earth’s rarest precious metals, platinum is used in everything from bars and coins to dental equipment and automobiles.
Among all the designs from PAMP Suisse, the Fortuna design is its most recognizable. In Roman mythology, Fortuna was viewed as the goddess of both fortune and fate. Her role as the goddess of fortune was tied to her status as the daughter of the king of the gods, Jupiter. Together, they were considered bringers of good fortune at harvest time.
On the obverse side of each bar you’ll find the image of Fortuna. Wearing a wreath crown and a cornucopia on her head, Fortuna is featured in left-profile relief with a blindfold over her eyes and her hands cupped at the bottom of the bar to catch the riches flowing from the horn of the cornucopia.
The reverse side of the 20 Gram PAMP Suisse Fortuna Platinum Bar bears engravings of the corporate logo for the refinery, the bar’s weight, purity, and metal content, and an assayer’s mark and serial number to verify its authenticity.
PAMP Suisse was founded in 1977 in Ticino, Switzerland. Today it is part of the Geneva-based MKS Group, which is a global financial services and precious metals firm.
