The $2 Federal Reserve Note was the last denomination of Federal Reserve Notes introduced into circulation. The Federal Reserve Note Series was introduced in 1914 with $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100 denominations. All five 1914 Series denominations are still in production today. The 1918 Series denominations of $500, $1000, $5000, and $10,000 have all been discontinued. In 1963, the $1 note was introduced, followed by these $2 notes in 1976.
All of the $2 Bitcoin Legal Tender Notes available here come to you in presentation folio booklets. Each note has its own booklet with a Certificate of Authenticity included with purchase. These are crisp, clean, uncirculated $2 Federal Reserve Notes and are actual legal tender from the US Treasury. Each one has been enhanced with new visual elements on the obverse side.
On the obverse of the Bitcoin Legal Tender Note, you will find the Bitcoin logo has replaced the common effigy of President Thomas Jefferson at the center of the note’s design field. Countless enhancements have been made to this side of the coin that bring hues of blue and orange to the design field. The central portrait field has an orange background with the white Bitcoin symbol at the center.
The reverse side of $2 Bitcoin Legal Tender Notes comes with the traditional design from John Trumbull. This image has graced the reverse of the $2 Federal Reserve Note since it was introduced in 1976. This replica of Trumbull’s oil painting depicts the moment the Committee of Five presented the Declaration of Independence to the Continental Congress.
