Each set comes with a Kennedy Half Dollar, Washington Quarter, Roosevelt Dime, Jefferson Nickel, and a Lincoln Cent. These coins will all arrive in proof condition.

From 1968 to 1972, these proof sets contained these 5 unique coins. From 1973 to 1982, a Silver Dollar was added. The San Francisco Mint, which primarily focuses on proof coinage, has been issuing and striking these Proof Sets since 1968. Prior to this, the Philadelphia Mint had produced these sets from 1936 to 1964. The US Mint created Proof Sets as early as 1916, but collector interest wasn’t there yet.
