The 1927 Pre-33 $20 Saint-Gaudens Gold Double Eagle Coin offered here is in Mint State 64 condition. A coin in MS64 condition has average luster with several small contact marks in groups and one or two moderately heavier marks. Overall, the coins have an attractive eye appeal.
CMQ, an initiative by Stack’s Bowers Galleries, was created to pinpoint the top-tier graded coins desirable for investors and collectors alike. Through meticulous evaluation, CMQ scrutinizes certified coins, assessing their quality, visual allure, and assigned grade. Upon meeting the criteria, coins are deemed qualified and adorned with a tamper-resistant hologram sticker, signifying their approval.
