The creation of the Utah Goldback was inspired by the passing of the Utah Legal Tender Act. This provided the adoption of gold and silver as legal tender in the state of Utah. This led to the creation of the smallest form of usable gold on the market, the 1 Utah Goldback Gold Note. A depiction of Prudence is available on the obverse field of each Utah Goldback Gold Note. Prudence is shown wearing a traditional indigenous dress originally found in this region. She’s seen sitting at the base of the tree with a dog howling beside her. The Latin word “Prudentia” is also shown.
A mirrored image of the obverse is seen on the reverse field as well. This is due to the ultra-thin nature of these Goldback Gold Notes. Any design element on the reverse would interfere with the design of the obverse.
Each order of the 1 Utah Goldback Gold Note will arrive in a bundle of 100 brand-new Gold Notes. These unique Goldbacks are created by putting thin layers of gold together between polymer sheets. Each note contains 1/1000th Troy oz of actual gold content. Each bundle will have 1/10th Troy oz of gold content.
