The obverse of all Stacking Across America Texas License Plate Silver Bars will depict a Texas License plate. This license plate shown is based on “The Texas Classic” license plate that was first introduced in July 2012. This plate is the standard plate used in Texas today. It features a white background with identifying marks written in black. Also featured is an outline of the state of Texas along with a lone star.
The reverse of all 1 oz Texas License Plate Silver Bars will feature an American flag design. The flag appears to be waving in the wind with the series name “Stackin’ Across America” also displayed. This image will appear on the reverse of all Silver Bars in the Stackin’ Across America Series.
Texas has seen the use of three different license plates since the turn of the century. The “Panoramic Texas” was introduced in 2000 featuring a silhouette of a cowboy riding his horse in the evening. In 2009, the “Lone Star Texas” was introduced. This marked the beginning of the seven-character plate number for Texas. This design was modernized in 2012 as “The Texas Classic” the official plate Texans use today.
