Cast copper bars are bars that closely relate to the first bars human civilizations created thousands of years prior. Cast bars use traditional production techniques. Copper is melted into its liquid form first, then poured into a mold. Design elements are then usually stamped into the bar incuse. Because of this unique process, it’s common for cast bars from the same mint or series to differ slightly. JM Bullion is proud to bring you the 1 Kilo Germania Mint Cast Copper Bar, available for purchase now.
Bar Highlights:
Each purchase of a 1 Kilo Germania Mint Cast Copper Bar will arrive in a black box from the mint. Each bar is individually vacuum packaged. Pure copper is an orange-red color and tends to darken as it naturally oxidizes. Since the metal is highly malleable, it is a great choice for a cast bar.
The obverse of each 1 Kilo Cast Copper Bar displays the identifying marks of the bar. Displayed at the top of the bar is the logo and name of the mint. Also featured is the metal purity, and weight, along with a unique serial number. This will be one letter followed by 5 numbers.
The reverse of each 1 Kilo Germania Mint Cast Bar will be left intentionally blank. This is because cast bars usually only have design elements or inscriptions on just one face of the bar. However, included on the reverse is a hologram element, attached for security purposes.
The Germania Mint was only recently established in 2018. The small, private mint produces silver, gold, and now copper bars. While the mint may have been recently founded, their roots can be traced back to 1986 when Apolinary Kurowski opened a numismatic store, in Poland. The small family business quickly evolved into the now 200-person company, known as the Germania Mint.
