Meet Moon Gazer
Lisa Parker’s collective works showcase a crossroads between natural wildlife and the mystical realm. Her combination of lighting and composition draws the viewer into each design, and the new Moon Gazer release is no exception. On the obverse of the Lisa Parker Collection Moon Gazer Silver Rounds, you’ll find the image of a rabbit in a flower-filled field. The rabbit sits in the serene setting with rolling hills in the background and forget-me-nots in the foreground as it gazes up at the Moon overhead. The entire field is brilliantly illuminated by the massive Moon above and the twinkling stars in the sky.
The reverse of the Lisa Parker Moon Gazer Silver Rounds includes the common design featured throughout the series. Known as Wild One, this is one of Lisa Parker’s more popular designs and features a large wolf’s head in front-facing relief with a five-pointed star behind it. There are also barren trees in the background that curve with the edge of the design field. You’ll also find the engraving of the round’s weight, purity, and metal content, along with the “LP” initials of the artist.
Six Options to Choose From
As with all the other releases in the Lisa Parker Collection, the new Moon Gazer Silver Rounds are available in proof, antique, and colorized proof versions in 1 oz silver and 5 oz silver. The proof rounds have frosted design elements with mirrored background fields, while the antique versions in the series offer a rustic appearance to the design. The colorized proofs offer a glimpse of the Moon Gazer design as Lisa Parker originally created it. The obverse field is the only side colorized in the series.
In the Moon Gazer design, the rabbit’s fur has shades of brown and its eyes have a piercing golden-brown colorization. The meadow is a beautiful green with the pop of the blue forget-me-nots and their yellow center. The oversized Moon above has shades of white and blue that illuminate the design field. The background field includes stars that, even though they’re not colorized, seem to offer their own sparkle to enhance the designs.
Each Moon Gazer Silver Round from the Anonymous Mint is available with a protective plastic capsule and comes with its own, individually-numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Mintage in this series is limited to just 750 rounds for the 1 oz proof and colorized proof options, while the 1 oz antique and all three 5 oz silver rounds have a mintage of just 250 rounds.
