The six-round series of silver rounds for the Lisa Parker Collection come to an end in October 2019 with the release of the Snow Kisses design. The collection that began with a wolf on the obverse side opposite a young girl now concludes with two wolves nuzzling their snouts together in a snow-covered forest opening. For more information on the Snow Kisses release, read on to learn about the final design of the Lisa Parker Collection.
On the obverse side of the Snow Kisses Silver Rounds from the Anonymous Mint and Osborne Mint, Lisa Parker’s design of two wolves in a snow-covered clearing concludes the series. The two wolves are featured on a rock situated in the center of a forest opening. One of the wolves is depicted lying down while the other wolf stands behind it. The wolf standing up lowers its snout to nuzzle the head of the wolf that is featured lying down.
When the Lisa Parker Collection debuted, the Moonstruck design captured a wolf’s head in right-profile relief and that of a girl in left-profile relief. The duo looks at each other as the moon rises in the background. Now, the series concludes with another wolf design and perfectly captures Lisa Parker’s love of the natural realm and wildlife.
The Lisa Parker Collection includes six distinctive options for each of the six designs in the series. These include proof, antique, and colorized proof options. The proof silver rounds are available with frosted designs and mirrored background fields. Antique silver rounds in the collection have a matte, rustic finish that reflects the appearance of ancient coinage. Colorized proof silver rounds include colorized lacquers on the obverse design elements. In this case, you will notice the snow-covered fields white layer and the two wolves with the colors from the original artwork: a white wolf and dark grey wolf.
Each individual silver round in this series is available with its own protective plastic capsule and a numbered Certificate of Authenticity from the mint. The rounds have low mintage figures of just 250 rounds for the 1 oz Antique, 5 oz Proof, 5 oz Antique, and 5 oz Colorized Proof releases. The 1 oz Proof and 1 oz Colorized Proof rounds have mintages of 750 rounds. You will find the individual serial number for each round etched onto the edge of the specimens.
