The Peregrine Falcon coin is composed of a slightly higher silver purity which is .9999 fine and also contains 1 troy ounce of metal. Along with containing one ounce of pure silver, these coins also hold a $5 CAD face value.
The obverse of each Silver Peregrine Falcon contains an image of Queen Elizabeth II along with the coins face value (5 Dollars) and the year of mintage (2014). The design on the reverse of the coin contains an image of a Canadian Silver Peregrine Falcon; which is where the coin gets it’s name. Along with the image are the words “Canada” as well as the coins purity and weight.
We are also offering the 2014 1 oz Canadian Gold Howling Wolf coin at premiums of as low as $51 over spot. The 1 oz Gold Howling Wolf coin is composed of .99999 (24k) pure gold which means it contains nearly zero base metals. Unlike the regular issue Canadian Gold Maple Leaf which holds a face value of $50 CAD, these coins hold a much higher, $200 CAD face value, which is actually the highest of any 1 ounce Gold bullion coin. Aside from having a higher purity and face value denomination, these coins also come in an assay card which is sealed directly from the mint, assuring complete authenticity.
The obverse of each Canadian Gold Howling Wolf coin contains an image of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the year of mintage (2014) and the face value (200 Dollars). On the reverse side sits an image of a Wolf, howling towards the sky, with the word “Canada” along the top. Along the bottom of the coin is the purity (.99999) and weight (1 oz). There is also a unique security feature, similar to that on the new 2014 Canadian Gold Maple Leaf.
