The upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026 has inspired an impressive collection of gold commemoratives celebrating the country’s founding principles, its rich national history, and the lasting legacy of the American experiment. Issued in precious metal formats suited to such a historic occasion, these limited-edition gold collectibles offer collectors and patriots a meaningful way to recognize one of the most important anniversaries in American history. Goldnote™ contributes to this celebration with its own semiquincentennial commemorative series, each featuring the brand’s recognizable gold fiche design. Today, America Quarter Millennium Limited Edition 2-Fiche Goldnotes are available at JM Bullion.
Product Highlights:
More than two centuries after its adoption, the bald eagle remains as powerful and resonant a national symbol as the day it was chosen, its image appearing on the Presidential seal, currency, military insignia, and the coinage of the United States in an unbroken tradition of patriotic representation that no other American symbol can match. Its remarkable conservation comeback from the brink of extinction in the late 20th century has added a new and inspiring dimension to its symbolism.
All America Quarter Millennium Limited Edition 2-Fiche Goldnotes feature two thin gold sheets, known as fiche, sealed within a singular polymer note that incorporates a variety of security enhancements. This 24-karat gold fiche is permanently enclosed inside the note and remains visible through a clear viewing window. The polymer note also contains a secure QR code that can be scanned with a smartphone camera to confirm the authenticity of the individual Goldnote. Use of the QR code does not require the submission of personal data and does not collect or trace user information. Goldnote has selected notes for this series with numbers from 1,776 to 2,026 as a nod to the 250 years of American history to date.
In the design of the America Quarter Millennium Limited Edition 2-Fiche Goldnote, you will see the Stars and Stripes in the background as the American bald eagle soars through the foreground. Today, the bald eagle is more than a symbol of national strength; it is a testament to American resolve and the nation’s capacity for renewal.
Along with the QR authentication feature, the polymer note includes several additional anti-counterfeiting details within its design. These security elements include banknote-style printing techniques, guilloche detailing, watermarks, and microprint text. Goldnotes are created for those who want a physical precious metal asset that offers both security and ease of authentication for exchange or verification purposes. Although the polymer note itself does not hold monetary denomination, it provides a reliable and secure housing for the gold fiche contained within it.
