The Barber Coinage was introduced by the United States Mint in 1892. Available until 1916, the common Liberty design in the series was used on the dime, quarter, and half dollar. The coins in this range were one of the last issues from the US Mint with 90% silver as the metallic content of US circulation coins would change in the 1960s. Now, 90% Silver Barber Quarters are available to you for purchase online from JM Bullion.

Designed by Charles E. Barber in 1892, the Barber Coinage used a common design across the three primary silver denominations: dime, quarter, and half dollar. The reverse of the quarter and half dollar was shared, while the dime had a unique reverse reflective of the smaller surface area available to work with on the coins.
The Barber Quarters were produced by the US Mint from 1892 to 1916 and eventually replaced by the Standing Liberty Quarter design from Hermon Atkins MacNeil. At this point in US history, all silver coins had 90% silver content and a balance of 10% copper for durability in circulation.
Liberty is featured on the obverse of 90% Silver Barber Quarters in a right-profile portrait. This Greco-Roman inspired bust of Liberty was not well-received at the time, but retains value today as a coin with a high silver content. Liberty is accompanied in the design by 13 stars on the edge of the field split on either side of Liberty’s head, as well as the date mark and national motto.
A version of the heraldic eagle of the United States graces the reverse side of all 90% Silver Barber Quarters. The heraldic eagle clutches a large olive branch in one talon and a cluster of 13 arrows in the other. Above its head is a loose cluster of 13 stars and the national heraldic shield is on its chest.
These 90% Silver Barber Quarters are available to you in average circulated condition, indicating wear and tear is present that is consistent with use in circulation. You will receive a total of $1 (USD) face value in Barber Quarters, four in total. The date marks on the quarters range from 1892 to 1916. We cannot guarantee the specific date marks you receive. You could get four quarters all from the same year or receive varying date marks.
