The American bald eagle has been the official national symbol of the United States since 1792. Almost outdone by the wild turkey as the national symbol, the eagle was chosen by the Founding Fathers because of its majesty, longevity, and power. The eagle appears on many precious metal products, including the 10 oz RMC Eagle Silver Bar, available today from JM Bullion.

Thomas D. Rogers is responsible for the design of the soaring eagle on the obverse side of the 10 oz RMC Eagle Silver Bar. Rogers is well known as an Assistant Engraver and artist for the United States Mint, and designed the reverse face of the American Platinum Eagle bullion coin from the mint.
Each of these 10 oz RMC Eagle Silver Bars arrive in a heat-sealed plastic package to protect the bar, as an individual purchase. When you purchase multiples of 25 they are shipped to you in a box.
On the obverse face of the Eagle Silver Bar you’ll find the image of an American bald eagle soaring through the sky. Its wings are wide as it soars above the wide open spaces of Grand Canyon National Park, with the winding Colorado River moving through the base of the mountainous outcrop.
The reverse of each silver bar features the Republic Metals Corporation checkboard design. In the center are engravings of the bar’s weight, purity, and metal content. Below the smooth field of the engravings you’ll find the RMC logo, which is intricate in design. It features an iron rod being poured from a cauldron into the furnace of the “M” in RMC.
Republic Metals Corporation is a private minting facility that opened in Florida in 1980. The company was launched with an initial investment of just $2,500, and today is one of the largest private mints in the US.
