I purchased 63 of these bars from JM Bullion. They come in sheets of 12. The extra 3 were cut out from a sheet bit still had the plastic unbroken. I wanted to diversify the weight of my bars as I usually go with 10 Oz. JM Bullion regularly has these bars on sale. Very low over spot on a regular basis. Check on Mondays for deals if you plan on buying these. Chances are they will be on sale soon. I am pleased once again with JM Bullion and they way they handle business. This was the first time I purchased a bar, and it was a pleasant experience. The bar has a very rich look, shiny, and detailed. Also the bar, being 5z’s each, they feel nice in the hand. They come delivered in heavy, clear, plastic container that looks like heavy plastic vacuum seal type container, which does the job for a single piece. If you order multiple they usually cut two or three off the roll depending on how many you order. Very nice and great at $.89 over spot. Gold and silver look primed – finally.

It works out the be the cheapest combination per oz, and the Sunshine silver bars are beautifully minted. My last order in Oct 30th shipped the same day (Friday) and arrived Monday.

Even with the fulfillment center and demand delays I am impressed with how JMB processes and delivers the product. These 5 oz bars were received in individual plastic pouches in a well packaged box. And the bars are very nice. The deal of free shipping, “on sale now”, and pay by check premium charge makes these very affordable. The only issue I have is having to be patient while my check is cleared instead of instant gratification of PayPal or credit card.

This was my first time purchasing the 5oz bars, and I have to say I like them! they have a nice heft to them and seem thicker than the 10oz (smaller height and width, of course). The bars are shiny and new, with the Sunshine mint mark on the back. The protective wrapping is airtight without being stiff or brittle.

Picked up some of these during a JB weekly sale (xx over spot deal). Nice, clean, shiny, plastic encased 5 oz bars. JB is a good source for product due to low premiums, high quality, eCheck availability (some buyers) and free shipping. The ONLY thing I don’t get – and this is not a complaint – is how some people report receiving purchased items a couple days after they buy. Never happened for me – always 7-10 days, which is fine since I can rely on 7-10 days.

if you have not figured it out yet, JM Bullion is the Deal. especially if you only buy small quantities at the time. this bar is as good as any other that JM offers. i like sunshine mints security feature and am sure it will be a benefit when it comes time to sell.

however all JM products are a value, especially when they go on sale. when i first started investing in silver i was paying $2.50 to $3.00 over spot. now i can honestly say i keep it under a dollar an ounce.

I buy silver in small quantities such as 10 to 20 ounces at a time. For these amounts, free shipping is a big deal, as is the the ability to choose different methods to pay. This is my fourth order from JMB and each order has been perfectly executed. I don’t see any reason to order from anyone else.

this is a great little bar. i like to look at it as a $100 bill. it all comes down to the premium per ounce. i have enough 1 oz bars and 10 oz bars. i usually don’t like to pay more than $1 premium per oz regardless of the weight. these bars fill in the void very nicely but rarely go on sale.

if you were to put a hundred dollar bill and this 5 oz bar, side to side, i would chose the 5 oz bar every time even though it is worth slightly less at the present time.

i don’t measure silver in dollar value but ounces. my only regret is that i can only afford to buy one at a time.
