Ran a little test between three different competitors for 10 oz bars that started this Sunday during a holiday weekend. One well known online site’s web site (with a very similar name) was broken…cart wouldn’t even process my order at all! So, on to the next site – order went ok and I’ve ordered from them before so didn’t expect any problems. Then on to JMB’s site and, again, order went ok. Now, the site I normally shop at has never been Speedy Gonzalez and I just chalked it up to being the nature of the beast with precious metals orders. I’ve NEVER placed an order and received it from anywhere in less than a week. Generally the process rolls well into two weeks. Not this time!! JM Bullion issued a shipping label on Tuesday and I signed for my package today. Less than a week from start to finish over a holiday weekend no less. And today I got a shipping label generation notification from my usual vendor. JM Bullion had a promotion for one bar per household at spot price so I had to jump on that opportunity. Like always I had a great experience with this product. These bars are a great way to build up some weight for they west dollar amount. They are also a good diversification tool away from the semi-numi products to bring down your dollar cost average per ounce. Sunshine intin company has great products and quality for the money type will spend. I have a couple of hundred of ounces of this product as my core stack and have no regrets. Great way to start your physical silver investment portfolio.

The 10oz bars are an excellent value. They are nice in appearance, the packaging is done well to keep them in good shape and easy to handle and store. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the fact they would not give just 1 plastic decoder to read the SI security mark but wanted another $17.99 for it when I had just spent bought several thousand dollars on their produc. Not the best thing to nickel and dime on the orders of certain amount … just a little picky but I feel it like it showed a little lack of customer service.

Great value for investing in silver. Beautiful bars and delivered quickly. Only issue I have is with how sunshine mint packages their products. Not sure why but all of the bars have residue from the plastic sleeves that I can’t get off with a cotton cloth.

Sunshine Mint will yield you one of the lowest if not the lowest price per troy ounce available. I have purchased other bars from other mints based on mint history and/or appearance and honestly I may sporadically do so again. However, that is strictly a cosmetic thing and probably not my best investment thinking. When it comes down to it, melted down, a troy ounce is a troy ounce, I don’t care where it comes from.

The reasons I purchase these are, as stated above, the best bang for the buck per troy ounce. There are a few others that will come close to or even match the price. However, I do like the “mint mark” on the sunshine bars. A reader (at this writing will cost you $17.99 but if (as I do at times) you go to sell some silver being able to prove to a buyer this is an authentic .999 silver bar helps close the deal and make the sale. Even if you do not own the reader, if you go to sell your bar to someone that does they can quickly find (using their reader) the bar is authintic. It is nice to have serialized bars because if they are stolen and then recovered you can prove ownership. But those bars come at a premium. Weighing it all out, for me this is the better buy.

The bar has a great apprentice and a method to prove it is not a fake and at the same time has one of the lowest cost per ounce.
I will be watching the market and buying more in the future.

Do not mind waiting for it to clear. I do order from two of their competitors on occasion when I can get a good sale price on gold or silver I want. Over-all…..JMB is my primary. You really can’t go wrong.

Package arrived in a timely manner and was well packed to prevent any possible damage. Bars are very nice. They come in a securely sealed plastic “bag” which should prevent tarnishing. My only concern is that the plastic is fairly thin and at least one of my bars looks like the plastic is close to having been scored and split. I doubt that would impact the value though.

Like everybody else says, the price is reasonable and shipping was secure and speedy, however I was a little bummed out to find that my bar didn’t quite have the glossy, mirror-like finish on the front.

Sounds like it’s hit or miss if you get a flawless one like some people have received versus a tarnished one like the one I got. Yes I know, melted down they’re worth the same, but I don’t plan on melting mine down any time soon and love staring at it. I would’ve loved staring at it a bit more if it was in better condition though.

I received my first order from JB Bullion, and I am very happy with it. I’m new at the silver market, so I’m sure I have lots to learn. I’m glad that I decided to follow a friend’s advice and go with JB. I ordered 2ea 10oz bars of the Sunshine mint, and they arrived in beautiful condition. I have to admit that I am fighting temptation to open the plastic pouch that they are sealed in, just to touch one!
`However, I, like another reviewer, wish that the decoder lens was available at a decent price~~ HINT!
I also like the website, as I found that I can look up the transaction history from start to finish. The only thing I did NOT like was printing a copy of the receipt!
~~NOT printer ink / paper friendly. 3 sheets of paper for a receipt are a little too much.
Overall, it was pleasurable to do business with this company~(already have two additional orders in), and will Highly recommend JB Bullion to friends.

Place my order on the 19th of Sept. and received my order on the 25th. I feel that SMI makes one of the most beautiful 10 ounce pressed bars available on the market today. As for JM…..it is next to impossible to find an online (or local) retailer that can beat their prices.

A nice heavy bar, clean simple design on the front. Nice mirror like finish too. I like the security feature on the back. Adds piece of mind for not a lot over spot.

Sunshine mint seems to consistently be one of the lowest or the lowest priced bullion buys day in day out. Add in the extra security of the mint mark and still maintain the lowest price makes these bars attractive to me. BTW, I have purchased a reader lens and it works great. With only rare exception I look for the best price per ounce rather than the mint that manufactures the bars. Melted down, it is all the same. As long as Sunshine keeps the competitive lower pricing going, I will be purchasing more.

Received my 10 oz. bar today. Very fast shipping and well secure in bubble wrap. This is my second order in about a month and the prices are cheaper than any I can find through coin shops, individuals or internet. I am very happy with JM Bullion and will continue to order from them.

We have quite a few of these bars as well as some others from this site. Nice, well-packaged bar with enough heft that you feel like you have something tangible and worthwhile. JM Bullion is our go-to seller. Prices are near if not the lowest lowest around. The free shipping is an added incentive. We have not found another seller that can beat the price with shipping. I’d have to say that the Sunshine Silver bars in 10 oz seem to be our favourites, mainly because of the fine detail and quality represented in this design. In all honesty, Sunshine Minting does offer the best bang for your buck with integrated security features and one of the lowest dealer commissions. If JM Bullion didn’t have a sale on the 5 oz variant of this piece currently, we would definitely be buying more of these. All the bars we received came fresh from the mint sealed in plastic. There are no serial numbers attached or engraved. To some this may be a concern, but in hard and coming times, this keeps things anonymous and untraceable. This is real silver folks; easy to detect, nothing to fear. Overall, we’re very satisfied with our order and will continue to purchase from JMB! Thank you!

I’ve only been buying silver for a short time, but have found that JMB consistently offers great (usually the lowest) prices and free shipping! When purchasing small quantities, adding $10-$20 for shipping and insurance really increases the initial investment cost. I pay by check to get the lowest price possible and agree with others’ comments that it would be nice to have a debit card payment option that would enable immediate payment/shipping without having to wait 10 days for mailing and check clearance.

The 10oz. bar is has a nice feel to it and offers one of the lowest premium over-spot prices available. JM’s price for these bars was the lowest I could find anywhere. I would definitely recommend picking up a couple of these for your collection.

Ditto to the other reviews. The bar is nice, the security feature nice, but the decoder lens way over priced. 20.00 for a piece of plastic to look through is a little much. I think they should be available for a much lower price. That being said, the bars are very nice condition, look, shape, and so on. The price is usually the best part. The only one thing I found interesting, the bar has an area for a serial number, but all my bars were blank on the raised rectangular serial number pad. I am not sure if they only do that for larger silver. My 100 ounce Sunshine bars do have serial numbers there. I am just wondering why have the area for a serial number, but then not include or engrave one. Otherwise a great bar :-)

I really like the Sunshine 10 OZ bars. JM Bullion has always been fast and reliable. Of course I also like free shipping! I plan on using JM Bullion for all my future PM purchases.

This is a very nice bar..just got my first one over the weekend. I have a few more in the pipeline. Very nice look and heft to it. Seeing some family members eyes light up who held it was a pleasant departure from the usual eye roll when I bring up my silver hobby.

Before I made my purchase with JM Bullion I researched several other similar sites. There are 3 things about JM that really stand out; free shipping, well designed website, and some of the lowest prices out there. I purchased the 10 oz silver bar by Sunshine Minting as my trial purchase. It arrived in 2 business days, and the bar is of excellent quality. Needless to say I will be using this site for all of my future purchases.

this bar is by far the best deal for small amounts of silver at the present time. at only 74c over spot per ounce that barely covers shipping cost. it is a pretty ho hum silver bar but 10 oz nonetheless. i did not hesitate to remove one from its plastic case so i could hold it. when push comes to shove silver content is what really matters. when i first started buying silver i was paying about $3 over spot all things considered. i don’t see how you can possibly go wrong with this bar.

I also used for the first time the SI lens to view the new security feature that the Sunshine Mint is using on its new bullion. it is nice for me to have a NDT/ visual test, to confirm my metal is true.
