A Spooky New Design

On the obverse side of the new Haunted Pumpkin Patch Silver Rounds is the image of a single fairy standing in the middle of a pumpkin patch. There are four small ghosts floating around the design field as the fairy stands unfazed by their presence. Two of the ghosts at the top of the design seem to play with the fairies hair, though she still doesn’t respond. The bottom of the design field features a few pumpkins with a large moon in the sky behind her. The moon is framed by the vines and leaves of a pumpkin.

The reverse face of the Haunted Pumpkin Patch Round continues with the vision of Dusk. Created by Brown back in 2003, Dusk is the fairy responsible for watching over the realm as the sunlight of day recedes and the darkness of night takes over.

New Design, Same Variety

Like the other releases of the Amy Brown Collection, the new Haunted Pumpkin Patch Silver Round is available in 1 oz silver with proof, antique, and colorized proof versions. There is also a 5 oz silver round with the same three versions for collectors to choose from when buying silver. The rounds have the same mintage figure for each weight and version as the previous issues.

All rounds feature .999 pure silver content and ship to you inside of protective capsules. There is a numbered Certificate of Authenticity included with each of the rounds and you’ll find the matching serial number on the edge of the round itself.

The colorized round in both 1 oz and 5 oz weights truly captures the mood of the season. The large moon rising into the background is a haunting shade of pale yellow. The pumpkins are a mild orange, but it is the fairy who really stands out. She wears a lavender, tiered dress and has a light lavender color to her hair. What perhaps stands out the most is her black-and-white striped socks.
