Geiger Edelmetalle has long used the same design on the primary face of its bars. The castle known as Schloss Guldengossa was the first registered office for the refinery and serves to this day as its corporate headquarters. The Baroque-styled castle has hosted individuals include Johann Sebastian Bach and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe during its illustrious lifetime, and it features on the obverse of countless silver, gold, platinum, palladium, and copper products from Geiger Edelmetalle.
The reverse of most products, such as the impressive new Geiger Silver Square Bars, include the repeating LEV rhombus design element. This pattern is the hallmark of the mint and stands for Leipziger Edelmetallverarbetung, or LEV for short. The design elements of the new Geiger Silver Square Bars goes beyond secure packaging to deliver a silver bullion product with the highest levels of security when investing.
The introduction of the Geiger Silver Square Bars brought with it a revolution in the security features added to silver bars for sale. These enhancements include a pearl finish on the surface of the obverse side, with a textured, high-relief design for the reverse. Further, each of the bars boasts a ribbed edge that is typically used only on bullion coinage. You’ll also find a unique serial number on each bar, and a UV coating on the reverse design element. What you cannot see with the naked eye, a black light will reveal in the center of the reverse design field: a UV-blue LEV rhombus.
One of the more impressive facets of the Geiger Silver Square Bar collection is its variety of weights.
