The $10 Indian Gold Eagle was the last design released in the US Eagle $10 denomination. The imagery on these coins was available from 1907 to 1916 on an annual basis, with only five dates struck from 1916 to 1933. Now, Pre-33 $10 Indian Gold Eagle 8-Coin Rare Date Sets are available to you for purchase online from JM Bullion.
Coin Set Highlights:
In this 8-Coin Rare Date Set, you will receive a total of eight coins dated between 1908 and 1916. There are six San Francisco Mint coins with S mint marks in this set and two Denver Mint coins with D mint marks.
Included in the set are some of the rarest gold coins from the Indian Gold Eagle release. Among them, the 1908-S With Motto is one of the rarest from this series. It was one of the lowest-minted coins in the entire Indian Gold Eagle Series and has just 1,800 surviving specimens today. Another exceptional example in the set is the 1908-D No Motto coin, one of the last issues of the $10 Indian Gold Eagle without the national motto of In God We Trust engraved on the coins.
On the obverse of Pre-33 $10 Indian Gold Eagle Coins in this 8-Coin Rare Set is an effigy of Lady Liberty. This effigy of Liberty captures her figure wearing a feathered headdress with 13 stars over her head. The reverse side of the coins in the Pre-33 $10 Indian Gold Eagle 8-Coin Rare Date Set features the image of an American bald eagle resting on a sheaf of arrows. Seven of the coins have the national motto of IN GOD WE TRUST inscribed, while the 1908-D No Motto does not. The coins have either D mint marks from the Denver Mint or S mint marks from the San Francisco Mint on the reverse.
These Pre-33 $10 Indian Gold Eagle 8-Coin Rare Date Sets come with individual flips for each coin. All coins are in Extremely Fine+ condition. These coins have light wear on the highest points only with some traces of mint luster still present. Each coin in this set is rare in its own right.
