    Our Opportunity:
    The Web Merchandising Manager will be responsible for the driving and executing all content creation, publishing of items on site and merchandising the site to drive optimal performance & customer experience. This position leads a team of 7-10 individuals with varying roles to drive merchandising execution. Scope of role extends to all product lines and websites with varying objectives based on each site’s strategy. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Procurement, this role will be critical to driving growth and customer lifetime value.

    Essential Functions

    • Leads team responsible for all aspects of content creation, publishing of items and customer facing merchandising strategy
    • Drive content creation prioritization and execution to manage continual additions to assortment
    • Manages digital asset strategy, workload and image quality
    • Ensures customer facing copy created by copywriting team is accurate, provides insights to customers and consistency in experience
    • Performs regular competitive assessments to identify areas of improvement and opportunities to capture market share
    • Weekly monitoring/reporting of item/category performance and actions to adapt to customer click behavior
    • Institutes test and learn approach (a/b testing) to best inform impacts of changes/modifications
    • Drives creation of dashboard to monitor KPI (Key Performance Indicators) results and identify exceptions
    • Partners with Purchasing & Marketing organizations to ensure alignment of vision and execution
    • Performs Ad Hoc analysis to identify areas of opportunity
    • Recommends solutions and implements processes/tools to achieve desired results
    • Manage and improve operational processes, policies, and systems in support of the organization’s mission and to improve efficiency and quality
    • Document SOPs for tasks and roles with supporting flow Charts/decision trees. Consolidate SOPs into onboarding and training tools

    Qualifications

    Required Skills and Competencies

    • Strong business acumen in identifying areas of opportunity and solutions to address
    • Web content management and merchandising experience in retail environment
    • Demonstrated leadership in managing people and projects
    • Strong drive for results in a fast-paced environment
    • Product information management and digital asset management
    • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
    • Strong analytical skills and experience in driving performance
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace

    Experience, Requirements & Education

    • Hybrid work environment role requiring regular on-site attendance
    • College degree required
    • 5+ years’ experience in relevant duties and responsibilities for this role including several years in leadership of others
    • Precious metals experience is not required
