A Unique Precious Metal

Goldnotes consist of two primary physical features to each piece: a polymer note and a thin gold fiche. The polymer note offers a banknote-quality print for its field and design elements. Each polymer note also includes security features such as guilloche patterns, watermarks, and micro-print text. Within the polymer note, you’ll find the 24-karat gold fiche. The gold fiche is a thin piece of gold that is sealed within a transparent window in the design of the polymer note.

Common Designs

To date, Goldnotes feature the same obverse and reverse designs for the polymer notes regardless of weight. One side of the note features the weight and Goldnote emblem, along with two eagles in left-profile relief. The other side of the note features a map of the world with a colorized background. The gold fiche sealed within the polymer note includes the Goldnote logo, along with the weight, metal content, and purity of each gold piece. 

Security and Portability

In addition to the banknote-quality security features of the polymer note, each Goldnote comes with a QR code. Using your smartphone camera, you can authenticate your Goldnote via the QR code. Use of the QR code does not require sharing any of your personal, sensitive information and the service will not track or trace you. One of the greatest benefits of the Goldnote is the portability of its design. Goldnotes offer a secure, tangible asset that you can easily authenticate, easily carry around, and even easily exchange thanks to the smaller volume of gold compared to traditional gold bullion coins.
