After gold was getting rid of like a hot potato yesterday, both gold and silver were able to bounce back a little bit on Thursday. Gold finished up about 7 dollars while silver improved on yesterday’s performance by about a half dollar.
While world markets continue to keep their eyes on the monetary future of the US, today there was some interesting news out of the United Kingdom. On Thursday banks in the UK announced that they may not have enough supplemental cash to be able to weather any sort of out of the ordinary market fluctuation. The bank is now looking to see what, if any, action can be taken in order to raise capital for the banks.
Tomorrow may mark the day of this week where we finally hear more about Spain and how strong or dismal their prospects look going forward as far as unemployment goes.
