Gold and silver both moved slightly on Friday to help precious metals end the week on a slightly positive note. Gold moved only slightly and was up 4 dollars while silver picked up about 15 cents.
This week was full of news out of Europe with many paying close attention to interest rates and the future of the eurozone economies. The early word is that 2013 will be a slow year for Europe and instead of growing most economies will simply be attempting to keep their head above water.
As we go into next week investors are hoping that gold will continue to improve and reach the level that it was at only a few months ago.
