    Position Summary

    JM Bullion is looking to add a website content manager to our marketing team in Dallas, TX.

    Essential Functions

    The Website Content Manager is responsible for managing all of the content for JMBullion.com. To accomplish this, you will work closely with a team of writers and third party contractors to create high quality website content, often on tight deadlines. This includes proof-reading, editing and publishing product descriptions, blog posts, promotional emails and other informational pages. This position plays an integral role to both the marketing department and the company as a whole. Often times, the marketing department is relying upon you to meet tight deadlines so they can launch new product promotions. The company is also relying on you to work efficiently and quickly, to stay ahead of the competition on newly available products. By creating high quality content that both informs and captures the attention of our customers, the customer is more likely to make a purchase. Primary duties include: Managing Product and Category Listings
    • Keeping an organized, prioritized list containing new products that need content so you can delegate work to writers efficiently
    • Working with our team of writers and third party contractors to order content for new products and categories
    • Proof-reading, editing and posting product and category descriptions on a daily basis
    • Sourcing and editing images, setting up SEO, and setting up URLs for new products
    • Adding products to their corresponding categories so they are displayed properly on website
    Writing Promotional Emails
    • Writing blog posts for weekly promotional emails that capture the attention of our customers
    Editing and Posting Tri-Weekly Market Updates
    • Proof-reading, editing and publishing market updates to social media (Facebook, GooglePlus and Twitter)
    This position supervises several third party contractors and freelance writers and is moderately supervised by the CEO and Marketing Director. A qualified candidate should have two to three years of experience with writing/editing for an eCommerce store or blog. A Bachelor’s degree and prior knowledge of precious metals is preferred but not required.

    • Prior precious metals experience is preferred

    • Proficient in MS Office
    • Intermediate skills required in Excel
