Coin Highlights:
Each of the 90% Silver Walking Liberty Half Dollar coins available in this product listing arrive inside of a reclosable plastic bag containing a total of 20 coins. The full face value of the roll is $10 (USD), and each coin is in circulated condition. Coins in circulated condition have obvious signs of wear and tear or damage resulting from use in circulation as a medium of exchange in commerce. Additionally, circulated can refer to coins that have also been mishandled by previous holders or collectors.
The Walking Liberty Half Dollar debuted in 1916 along with two other new designs on US currency. The so-called Barber Coinage that had been in circulation since 1892, designed by US Mint Chief Engraver Charles E. Barber, was in the process of being replaced in 1916. The half-dollar, quarter, and dime were all replaced at the same time.
Adolph A. Weinman’s design won out as the new image for the half-dollar coin, and he even had a separate one accepted for the dime. The Walking Liberty image depicts the figure of Liberty as she walks forward toward a setting sun holding branches in one hand and the American flag draped over her shoulder.
The obverse of the 90% Silver Walking Liberty Half Dollar Coins features that design from Weinman. Engravings on the face include “Liberty,” the national motto of the United States “In God We Trust,” and the year of issue for the individual coin.
On the reverse of the Silver Walking Liberty Half Dollar Coin is Weinman’s design of an American bald eagle. This image captures the bald eagle as it begins to rise up from its perch on a branch set on a mountaintop. Engravings include “United States of America,” “E Pluribus Unum,” and “Half-Dollar.”
These coins feature 90% silver content. All circulation silver coins in the United States, issued prior to 1964, are considered 90% silver coins. The coins have an alloy mixture of 90% silver and 10% copper.

"Great lot of silver coins. Most of them were 1940s dates, a few were dated in the 1930s. very happy with what I received."
