Goldback Notes are already available representing Utah, Nevada, and New Hampshire, with Wyoming being the third state from the American West to gain Goldbacks. These gold notes are not legal tender US dollars, however, each one is spendable. The notes are a voluntary currency that vendors can sign up to register as acceptable forms of currency with their businesses.
All of the 5 Wyoming Goldback Gold Notes are available to you for purchase with plastic sleeves. Goldback Notes are produced by combining thin layers of 24-karat gold together within polymer sheets.
The obverse side of this Wyoming Goldback Gold Note features a cowgirl with her horse. The inclusion of the Latin word audentia on this side references boldness, fearlessness, and valiance. All of these are appropriate for the hearty people that settled in Wyoming and carved out a life in the rugged landscape. This cowgirl has a close relationship with her horse as she pulls its head toward her own. In the foreground, you will notice roses with a horseshoe and some rope.
On the reverse, 5 Wyoming Goldback Gold Notes have no distinct design. The thin nature of these notes would result in the designs on either side interfering with the other should images be used on both fields. As such, you will notice only the mirror image of the obverse visuals on this side of the gold note.
