Viking warriors were among the first seafaring conquerors of the modern world. Between the 8th and 12th centuries, these Germanic Norse fighters spread out from Scandinavia to both conquer militarily and trade with the people of the British Isles, Ireland, Northern Europe, Central Europe, and even parts of Russia.
These 5 oz Monarch Precious Metals Battle Axe Viking Silver Bars are produced in Monarch’s increasingly popular stackable design. Originally focusing solely on poured loaf bars, Monarch is shifting more production to stackable bars as investors prefer the design which is more easily stored than a loaf product.
All Monarch Precious Metal silver bars are still hand-poured originally in stackable design molds and stamped with the new Viking warrior design, in this case. Each silver bar from Monarch features a minimum fineness of .999 pure silver.
On the obverse of these Viking Silver Bars you’ll find the image of an imposing Viking warrior carrying a large, double-headed battle ax. Below the warrior you’ll find the Monarch crown logo as a mint mark, along with markings of the bar’s weight, purity, and metal content. The reverse face of the bar features no engravings, and the overall appearance of the bar’s background reflects a rough, matte finish.
Monarch Precious Metals was founded in the Rogue Valley of southern Oregon in 2008. All of its gold and silver products are hand-poured by refiners at the mint, with minimum purity levels of .9999 (gold) or .999 (silver).
