The cast silver bars in the Germania Mint Cast Series are packaged individually inside of black presentation boxes. The box has a viewing window that shows off the obverse field of the silver bar. The silver bars in this series have individual serial numbers.
The Germania Mint series of silver bars is a new introduction as of 2021. Originally offered in weights of 100 Grams, 250 Grams, 500 Grams, and 1 Kilogram, the series now expands to offer Troy oz silver bars. The first options available include 5 oz silver and 10 oz silver bars.
Obverse design elements on 5 oz Germania Mint Cast Silver Bars include the logo of the Germania Mint. In this particular version of the Germania Mint logo, the double-headed eagle is set on a shield that is topped by a crown and flanked by olive branches. The name of the mint and other identifying hallmarks are found on this side of the bars. The individual serial number is engraved at the bottom of the bar.
Reverse fields of 5 oz Germania Mint Silver Bars are left blank on purpose by the mint. The reverse field might be blank, but it is not without its own attraction. This side of the bar comes with the rough finishes that result from the rustic finish of cast silver bars. The casting process can result in bubbles, textures, and other striations that you may find on this side of the bar. This face does include a hologram from the Germania Mint that helps you verify the identity of each individual silver bar.
